As a rapidly growing Midwest manufacturer, we are seeking a disciplined, process-minded Manufacturing Engineer to lead our scientific molding efforts and level up our production capabilities. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead scientific injection molding initiatives — RJG or Paulson experience preferred
  • Standardize and enforce molding processes using setup sheets and data-driven methods
  • Train and mentor Supervisors and Setup Technicians to elevate floor performance
  • Troubleshoot issues such as splay, cycle time, and tooling challenges
  • Implement automation and LEAN principles to improve flow and reduce waste
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Tooling, and Production teams
  • Drive change even when facing resistance — because doing it right matters

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of hands-on plastic injection molding experience
  • RJG Master Molder, Paulson, or equivalent scientific molding certification preferred
  • Undergraduate Degree Preferred (Associate’s or Bachelor’s)
  • Strong experience with process documentation, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Comfort with ERP systems (DELMIAWorks/IQMS is a plus)
  • Proficiency with LEAN, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
  • Excellent communication, delegation, and leadership skills
