As a rapidly growing Midwest manufacturer, we are seeking a disciplined, process-minded Manufacturing Engineer to lead our scientific molding efforts and level up our production capabilities. What You’ll Do:
- Lead scientific injection molding initiatives — RJG or Paulson experience preferred
- Standardize and enforce molding processes using setup sheets and data-driven methods
- Train and mentor Supervisors and Setup Technicians to elevate floor performance
- Troubleshoot issues such as splay, cycle time, and tooling challenges
- Implement automation and LEAN principles to improve flow and reduce waste
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Tooling, and Production teams
- Drive change even when facing resistance — because doing it right matters
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of hands-on plastic injection molding experience
- RJG Master Molder, Paulson, or equivalent scientific molding certification preferred
- Undergraduate Degree Preferred (Associate’s or Bachelor’s)
- Strong experience with process documentation, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Comfort with ERP systems (DELMIAWorks/IQMS is a plus)
- Proficiency with LEAN, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
- Excellent communication, delegation, and leadership skills
